<br />RESOLMED, that the Tax Assessor in and for the County of Indian River, State
<br />Florida, be and he is hereby directed to levy and assess all of the foregoing taxes as
<br />fixed and levied by this Board upon the property as levied and that he extend the taxes
<br />on the valuation of such property according to said millage as fixed and determined by
<br />this Board -on all the property subject to taxation in the said County of Indian River,
<br />as to all. -taxes levied and intended to be entered on the assessment roll under the head
<br />of County taxes, and upon all property lying and being within the Districts as described
<br />within the County of Indian River, as of the. First day of Zanuary 1926.
<br />RMOLVBD, Farther, that the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Clerk of this Board,
<br />be and he is hereby directed to furnish to Geo. T. Tippin, Tax Assessor, of Indian River
<br />County, a full and complete copy of the foregoing minutes in so far as the same relates
<br />to the subject of levying taxes, describing boundaries and etc.
<br />RESOLVED, Further, that the Clerk and Auditor of the County be notified .of the
<br />amount to be apportioned to the different accounts out of the total taxes levied for all
<br />purposes.
<br />The Notary Public bond of Hazel G S"wartwout, in the sum of $500.00 with B .T.
<br />Redstone, H.G.Redstoneo C.E.Crane and F.E."Schnee, as sureties was approved.
<br />The Notary Public bond of Elizabeth Kellerman in the sum of 0500.00 with The
<br />American Sarety Company, as surety was approved.
<br />The application of the Farmers Bank of Vero Beach, to become County Depository
<br />for the year 1927-1928 was received.
<br />over until the next regular meeting.

<br />It was ordered that Mrs John Yates,be placed on the mothers pension roll to
<br />receive x$30.00 per month, instead of $20.00 as he ze tofo re paid.
<br />The request of the Manners .yank of Vero Beach, to the Board of County Com-
<br />missioners requesting this Board to deliver to said Bank the notes, mortgages and other
<br />searu.rities held by the Board to secure County Deposits wh&ch deposits were with the
<br />Farmers Bank & Trust Company of Vero Beach, at the time it closed its doors for business,
<br />on January 27th -1927, and which notes, mortgages and other securities was held by this
<br />such Bank to issue its Trust receipt therefo` ,
<br />Board in addition to the amount placed with the State Comptroller, and the Board after
<br />considering such request and application it mas moved by Commissioner DaBruce and
<br />seconded by Commissioner Geo.A.Braddock, and unanimously carried that this Board do not
<br />deliver to said Bank the notes, mortgages and securities held by them to secure such
<br />County deposits.

<br />REAS, the Fanners Bank & Trust Company of Vero Beach, Florida, duly designated
<br />and acting Depository for Indian River County, placed with the "State Comptroller, among
<br />other securities, the following:
<br />$20,000.00 Indian River County Time warrants
<br />259000.00 City of Vero Improvement bonds
<br />3,000.00 19abasso School District bonds, and
<br />TMEREAS, said Bank closed its doors on the 27th day of January 1927, with more
<br />than .150,000.00 of public County funds, coming under the jurisdiction of the County
<br />Commissioners, on hand, and,
