Chairman Solari revealed he would vote against the Motion since he did not believe the <br />funds for use along State Road AIA, or other places in the district, should be part of the issue at <br />this time, and also because of the amount of time that elapsed since the collection of impact fees. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried by a vote of 4-1 (Chairman Solari <br />opposed). The Board directed staff to: (1) contact the <br />City of Vero Beach to see if there is a City project that the <br />money is eligible for; (2) decide whether the money is to <br />be refunded; and (3) contact the Florida Attorney General <br />for legal guidance. <br />The following Motion was in reference to Administrative issues: <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner O'Bryan, to direct staff to: <br />(1) keep the application fee amount the same, and (2) <br />provide notice to eligible owners. <br />A brief debate ensued among the Commissioners regarding the application fee. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried unanimously.
