3 . Finishes - Unspecified <br /> When type of finish is not specified, the following shall be applicable . <br /> a. Scratched Finish : <br /> For surfaces to receive bonded cementitious application, i . e. ceramic <br /> tile, etc . , refer to drawings for locations of tile areas . <br /> b . Troweled Finish : <br /> For surfaces intended as smooth walking surfaces or for receipt of <br /> floor coverings . <br /> c . Broom Finish : <br /> For exterior walks , loggias, curbs and where indicated on drawings . <br /> d . Float Finish : <br /> Exterior platforms, steps , stairways, landings, and ramps . <br /> 5 . Specific Finish Locations <br /> a. Slab areas to receive ceramic tile, resilient floor coverings , <br /> specialized gymnasium flooring, or slabs within a .minimum of 2 feet <br /> each side of accordion doors shall be "dead level" - Class A. <br /> b . All other slab areas - Class B . <br /> 61 - Tolerances for finishes as specified shall be as follows : <br /> a. Class A - True planes within 1 /8 " in 10 ft. <br /> b .
