SECTION 01200 - CONTRACTORS GENERAL NOTE <br /> ' 101 THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THE <br /> FOLLOWING : <br /> ' A. The Contractor shall warranty and guarantee all materials and workmanship for a <br /> period of ( 1 ) year from the date of completion. <br /> ' B . The Contractor shall secure Final Inspection and Acceptance , prior to the Release of <br /> Final Payment. <br /> ' C . The Contractor shall provide and maintain Workmans Compensation and Builders <br /> s <br /> Risk Insurance with the limits required by law and as specified herein. <br /> ' D . All materials shall be new and of the quality specified. Substitutions will be allowed <br /> but only with the Architects prior written approval. Verbal approvals to Contractors <br /> request for substitution are non-binding unless they are backed up with written <br /> documentation from the Architect. <br /> E . The Contractor shall coordinate all work with the manufacturer ' s installation <br /> instructions and catalog cuts . <br /> F . The Contractor and Subcontractors shall perform all work in accordance with the best <br /> trade practices typical to the projects geographical location. <br /> ' G. Prior to final payment, the Contractor shall issue to the Owner, executed " Final <br /> Release of Lien " forms from all parties having lien rights against the Owner. <br /> ' H. Unless where noted otherwise, the Contractor shall provide all the labor, material , <br /> equipment, and incidentals , including all testing as required in the Specifications by an <br /> ' independent testing laboratory, necessary for a complete and operating project. <br /> I . The Contractor shall coordinate the work of all trades and/or Subcontractors and shall <br /> ' notify the Architect that all long-lead items for the project have been ordered OL S <br /> scheduled,, <br /> ' 2 . 01 EXAMINATION OF SITE <br /> Each Contractor shall carefully examine the site before submitting his bid. No allowance <br /> ' will be made him for a lack of full knowledge of all conditions at the site, except such <br /> underground conditions as are indeterminable before the commencement of the work. <br /> 01200- 1 <br />
