To maintain register YVC members 100% • Provide weekend projects every weekend <br /> ( 1 , 100) as reported by the 2003 -2004 year and afterschool and during every school <br /> end YVC register member totals . Baseline: vacation_ <br /> 2002-2003 register member totals. . Provide full time summer program with al <br /> day service sites for youth to participate in <br /> as contributors of serviceunder the guided <br /> leadership of YVC staff and community <br /> partners. <br /> • Provide programs to YVC members which <br /> are ongoing which teach about special <br /> needs children and adults on weekends <br /> nights (Respite an Recreation) and on <br /> weekend days ( Sun Up) <br /> • Provide weekend and ongoing senior <br /> companionship programs (White Dove, <br /> Tandem Healthcare, Royal Palm) <br /> • Provide after-school mentoring/tutoring <br /> programs to YVC members for after school <br /> service opportunities . <br /> • Provide 5`h graders an introduction to YVC <br /> programs and service through <br /> PATHWAYS in elementary schools . <br /> • Providing service activities to every 9t' <br /> grade student at the Freshman Learning <br /> Center a extra credit in clas or as a required <br /> grade for Biology class . <br /> • Provide YVC Clubs focusing on areas of <br /> interest. (Philanthropy Club , Computer <br /> Club) <br /> • Provide Performance in service <br /> opportunities through the YVC Band, Hip <br /> Hop Performance Troupe, Step <br /> Performance troupe, and the Drama Team <br /> 2 _ To decrease juvenile crime rates of enrolled . Create an assessment during intake process <br /> 10 - 17 year old YVC Members to less than to target YVC members with high risk <br /> 3 % compared to non-club members which is factors_ <br /> 7% as reported by the 2000-2001 juvenile • Assign youth targeted with high risk <br /> arrests . Baseline : 2000-2001 Indian River factors by the Department of Juvenile <br /> County statistics from the FL Department of Justice to YVC staff Team Leader to case <br /> Juvenile Justice Bureau Data.
