7 . The person or company conducting the land clearing must be a licensed contractor registered in Indian River County to perform <br /> ' such work . The applicant is advised to contact Linda Jones in the County Building Division at ( 56 1 ) 567-8000, ext : 288 to <br />ensure <br /> that the land clearer has required licensing. <br /> ' OTHER CONDITIONS , <br /> 1 . This permit authorizes land clearing in conjunction with the approved site plan . Best management practices are to be used <br />to <br /> teliminate or reduce soil erosion. This includes using devices such as hay bales , silt screens, or berms . These devices need <br />to be <br /> properly installed and maintained, and need to remain in place until the soil surface has stabilized. These devices must be properly <br /> installed prior to commencement of construction activities on the property . <br /> ' This permit does not authorize any soil erosion or turbidity to wetlands , surface waters , or drainage systems , either on-site or <br /> off-site, <br /> unless authorized by an issued County Wetland Resource Permit. <br /> ' 1 . This permit does not authorize any earth moving excavation or filling.
