<br />WHEREAS, by Resolution heretofore adopted by the City Council of the City
<br />of Vero Beach, as to all of the parcels of property hereinafter described, the Board of
<br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Section
<br />194.55, Florida Statutes, did dedicate to public use and purposes by the City of Vero Beach,
<br />Florida, all of the parcels of property hereinafter described; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Florida, has delivered to this Board of County
<br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, a duly certified copy of Resolution adopted
<br />by the City Council of said City, reciting that said City has no present or prospective use
<br />for public purposes of the parcels of property hereinafter described and releasing all claim
<br />of said City thereto and requesting and authorizing that this Board revoke its dedication of
<br />said parcels of property herewith described for public use and purposes, and to thereupon
<br />handle and dispose thereof as provided by said Section 194.55, Florida Statutes; Therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, does hereby revoke its dedication for public use and purposes of the parcels of.
<br />property hereinafter described, and does herewith instruct the Clerk of this Board and the
<br />Clerk of the Circuit Court -of Indian River County, Florida, to cause his records to show
<br />accordingly, and to cause said parcels of property to be made available for sale as provided
<br />by said Section 194.559 Florida Statutes, and to forward a certified copy of this Resolution
<br />to the Tax assessor of Indian River County, and to the Tax Assessor of the City of Vero
<br />Beach, Florida.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount of initial bid required for the pur-
<br />chase of said lands and the price as determined by this Board for the purchase of the lands
<br />hereinafter described is herewith fixed and determined by said Board at the sum of $7,500.00,
<br />to which the Clerk of the Circuit Court, in determining the base and minimum price and initial
<br />bid, shall add the estimated costs of advertising the same for public sale and all fees of
<br />said Clerk incident thereto provided by law, and upon receipt of said sum, the Clerk shall
<br />publish notice to all concerned that such lands will be offered at public sale to the
<br />highest bidder for cash.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the parcels of property, the dedication of which
<br />is herewith and hereby revoked, are those parcels of property in Vero Beach, Indian River
<br />County` Florida, described as follows, to -wit:
<br />Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 2, Langwick Subdivision
<br />according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 1,
<br />page 32, in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
<br />Court of Indian River County, Florida.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Indian River County, Florida, acting by and though
<br />its Board of County Commissioners, does herewith agree to purchase of and from John S. peters
<br />and Beverly S. Peters, his wife, Lots 31 to 36, inclusive, Block 2, of said Langwick Sub=
<br />division
<br />as hereinbefore
<br />described, and agrees to pay
<br />as the
<br />purchase price thereof the
<br />total sum
<br />of $3,000.00,
<br />and the Clerk of the Circuit
<br />Court is
<br />herewith directed to disburse
<br />said sum
<br />of $3,000.00 to
<br />the said John S. Peters and
<br />Beverly
<br />S. Peters, his wife, or their
<br />assigns,
<br />upon the receipt
<br />by said Clerk of the sales
<br />price of
<br />the property hereinbefore
<br />described
<br />authorized to
<br />be sold and from the balance
<br />of said
<br />funds so received by said Clerk,
<br />the same shall be disbursed by said Clerk as provided by law.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon the County acquiring title to said Lots 31
<br />to 36, inclusive, Block 2, of said Langwick Subdivision, the same are herewith dedicated to
