3 • 0 Rales & Responsibilities <br /> The following section outlines and identifies the key roles and responsibilities that are critical to the overall <br /> success of the implementation of the Advanced solution . <br /> 3 . 1 Project Team Composition—Advanced <br /> Project Sponsor : <br /> The sponsor' s primary role is to be the point of escalation for issues that require input beyond the Project <br /> Manager . <br /> • Senior representative of Advanced who has decision- making authority . <br /> ■ Participate in regularly scheduled steering committee meetings <br /> Project Manager: <br /> A project manager' s primary role is to be a facilitator with the goal being to ensure that a project is <br /> completed on time , within budget , and according to the requirements . <br /> ■ Primary point of contact for all project-related communications <br /> ■ Plan development , execution and adjustments , as necessary <br /> ■ Coordination of all project activities <br /> ■ Resource planning and scheduling <br /> ■ Relationship Management <br /> Conversion Specialist <br /> The conversion specialist' s primary role is to convert data that is provided by Indian River County Utilities <br /> in the data extractions from the current CIS system to CIS Infinity in such a manner as to support the <br /> configuration and business requirements of Indian River County Utilities . <br /> ■ Ensure data mapped into CIS Infinity is complete and accurate — through active knowledge of <br /> processes followed and results tested <br /> ■ Troubleshoot problems <br /> ■ Understand existing data structure and new data structure <br /> ■ Oversee final data acceptance <br /> • Resolve data issues as identified by Indian River County Utilities testing <br /> Technical Implementation Specialist <br /> The technical implementation specialist' s primary role is to complete the configuration of CIS Infinity <br /> based on the requirements gathered from Indian River County Utilities through various discussions and <br /> testing <br /> ■ Oversee the set-up of control files and create processes within CIS Infinity <br /> ■ Understand Indian River County Utilities ' business rules , regulations and processes <br /> ■ Work with Indian River County Utilities ' team to modify/revamp processes and seek Project <br /> Manager support <br /> • Assist project manager in project management in areas such as timing and scheduling <br /> ■ Responsible to relay business issues to Indian River County Utilities Is implementation team <br /> ■ Assist in system testing and overall quality assurance <br /> ■ Advise testers of work required , sign -off procedures and timing <br /> ■ Resolve configuration related issues as identified by Indian River County Utilities testing <br /> 56 <br />
