Protected Species : The potential for Federal and State listed animal species to inhabit or <br /> migrate through the project area is minimal to nonexistent. General notes have been <br /> added to the construction plans that require the contractor to comply with all Federal and <br /> State requirements regarding endangered and threatened species and State listed species <br /> of special concern . Thus, no impacts to protected species or should result from this <br /> proj ect. <br /> Water Quality : This project is located approximately 2 miles from the headwaters of the <br /> Sebastian River that is an Outstanding Florida Waterway. However, construction will <br /> occur within the existing right of way and therefore poses not threat to the water quality <br /> of this river or adjacent waterways or drainage ways leading to the Sebastian River.
