In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Fine and Forfeiture Fund, <br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Two and Three -tenths (2.3) mills <br />upon the dollar beelevied and is hereby imposed. <br />i <br />4. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Capital Outlay Fund, it is <br />determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Five -tenths (.5) mill upon the dollar be <br />levied and is hereby imposed. <br />5. In order to provide funds to the Indian River /County Public Health Unit, <br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Five -tenths (.5) mill upon the dollar be <br />levied, assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and being in the County of <br />Indian River, the proceeds of which when collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of <br />the State of Florida for the account of the State Board of Health of the State of Florida <br />to be expended by said State Board of Health as provided by Chapter 154, Florida statutes. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tax Assessor &f Indian River County, Florida, <br />be and he is hereby directed to assess and levy all of the foregoing taxes as fixed and levied. <br />by this Board upon the taxable property in Indian River /County, Florida, just and due taxations' <br />and the Tax Collector of Indian River County, Florida, be and he is hereby directed to collect <br />said taxes and pay over the sane to the Board and that a certified copy of this Resolution <br />be furnished to the County Assessor of Taxes and the County Collector of Taxes. <br />Upon being duly seconded by Commissioner McCullers, the foregoing Resolution <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />R E S O L U T I O N --- School Levy <br />Commissioner Waddell introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption <br />as follows, to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, all acts having been performed and all proceedings had as required by <br />law preliminary to the levy of taxes in Indian River County, Florida, for the year 1956; and, <br />WHEREAS, the respective Boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and <br />levy taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, <br />fixed such tax levies and have certified the same to the Board of County Commissioners and <br />this Board having accepted the same and having found them to be proper; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1. Estimates having been made by the Board of Commissioners of INDIAN RIVER <br />MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT, and a certified copy of the Resolution filed with this Board, as <br />required by law, and as estimated by the Board of Commissioners, it is determined and hereby <br />declared that a tax rate of Six and five -tenths (6.5) mills upon the dollar be levied, and is <br />hereby fixed and assessed for the year 1956, on all of the property taxable for such purpose <br />as provided by law in the County of Indian River, lying and being within the boundaries of said <br />Indian River Mosquito Control District, the boundaries of said District being described as <br />follows, to -wit: All of that territory in Indian River County, Florida, included within the <br />(boundaries described as follows, to -wit: Begin at a point where the South boundary line of <br />Indian River County, Florida, intersects the Atlantic Ocean; thence run West along the South <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
