AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT) dated April Is`, 2003 between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc . (ENGINEER) <br /> and Indian River County (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section I - Project <br /> Limits and Description", Section II - County Obligations, "Section III - Scope of Services " <br /> ,"Section V - Compensation" and " Section XVI — Duration of Agreement' of the <br /> AGREEMENT. <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following: <br /> "SECTION I - PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" is being modified to include <br /> construction phase assistance for the 4`h Street Bridge Replacement Project. <br /> "SECTION II — COUNTY OBLIGATIONS " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> It is understood that during the Construction, the COUNTY will undertake the day to day <br /> task of construction observation, which includes but is not limited to the following: <br /> • COUNTY representatives will be on site during construction and responsible for <br /> construction observation. <br /> • Conduct review of implemented maintenance of traffic devices. <br /> • Conduct the weekly progress meetings. <br /> • Work with the Contractor to develop and process monthly pay request. <br /> • Monitor the removal of the existing structure. <br /> • Provide monitoring of the utility improvements associated with the bridge-culvert <br /> construction. <br /> " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following: <br /> The ENGINEER will provide limited construction services assistance for roadway, <br />
