<br />E. E. Carter, Road & Bridge Superintendent, tendered his resignation as County
<br />Road and Bridge Superintendent. Upon Motion by Commissioner Robert Graves, seconded by
<br />Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr. and unanimously carried, Mr. Carter's resignation was rejected.
<br />Upon Motion of W. C. Graves, Jr.., seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried,
<br />Mr. E. E. Carter was appointed Superintendent of Public Roads for the ensuing year.
<br />It was then moved by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner W. C.
<br />Graves, Jr. and unanimously carried that the Superintendent of Public Roads install a foreman
<br />who is charged with the responsibility and invested with the authority to operate the main-
<br />tenance division, including all equipment and personnel under the general direction and super-
<br />vision of the Superintendent of Public Roads.
<br />Mrs. Anne*Christensen, County Welfare Case Worker,.appeared before the Board
<br />and gave a report of her activities for the month of December, and same was ordered filed by
<br />the Clerk.
