INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING, SURVEYING <br /> AND BRIDGE DESIGN SERVICES <br /> AMENDMENT NO . 2 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) <br /> dated April 1St, 2003 between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County <br /> (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section III - Scope of Services " , " Section V - <br /> Compensation " and " Section XVI — Duration of Agreement " of the AGREEMENT . <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following : <br /> " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The 90% construction documents associated with the 66th Avenue and 41St Street <br /> Intersection Improvements will be modified to reflect the desired 66th Avenue four-lane <br /> divided section proposed by the COUNTY . The roadway modifications to 66th Avenue <br /> will include curbed outside lanes , bike lanes , sidewalks , crosswalks, and ADA compliant <br /> curb cut ramps . The modification limits will extend t/4 mile north and t/4 mile south of 41St <br /> Street . Revisions to 41St Street will be necessary to tie-in the proposed four lane 66th <br /> Avenue roadway section, plateau the intersection and modify the western bridge approach <br /> on 41St Street . <br /> The COUNTY will provide the aperoved 66th Avenue typical section and the horizontal <br /> and vertical tie-in points at the 66t Avenue terminus points based upon future 66th Avenue <br /> widening plans . These revisions include the design and construction documents associated <br /> with the 66th Avenue stormwater collection and conveyance systems within the limits of <br /> this modification. Stormwater permitting associated with St . Johns River Water <br /> Management District is understood to be included within another consultant ' s scope of <br /> work . <br /> In addition to the roadway modifications, the COUNTY desires to develop signalization <br /> plans for the 66th Avenue/ 41 " Street intersection. The Traffic Signal Design services will <br /> include the preparation of plans , specifications, and an opinion of probable construction <br /> cost necessary for the construction and implementation of the traffic signal improvements <br /> at the above identified intersection.
