v <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> Civil Engineering and Land Surveying for Intersection <br /> Improvements at 58th Avenue and State Road 60 <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC . AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT) dated February 22d , 2005 between Kimley-Horn and Associates , Inc . <br /> (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in <br /> " Section III - Scope of Services " , " Section V - Compensation" and " Section XVI — Duration of <br /> Agreement " of the AGREEMENT . <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following : <br /> " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> Task One — Site Planning Analysis : <br /> We will review the impacts of the proposed roadway improvements and additional right- <br /> of-way acquisitions on four individual properties within the project envelope as depicted <br /> within the preferred alignment. <br /> This analysis will include reviewing the proposed roadway improvements, the current <br /> Indian River County Land Development Regulations and S . R. 60 Corridor Plan <br /> requirements . The ENGINEER will then prepare site plan studies for the four properties <br /> to account for reconfiguration of existing parking spaces/landscape buffers and the <br /> impact of the proposed roadway, utility relocations and pedestrian improvements . <br /> We will prepare one initial site modification plan for each of the four properties and <br /> review with the COUNTY and effected parties . We will then provide one round of <br /> revisions to these plans based on the input from the meeting . <br /> The ENGINEER will prepare these site plans utilizing ACAD technology and colorize <br /> these plans digitally using M-Color software . <br /> Task Two — Illustrative Cross Sections and Streetscape Master Plan : <br /> The ENGINEER will look at the entire intersection improvement area within the public <br /> right-of-way and develop an overall streetscape theme which could include : street trees, <br /> lighting, specialty paving, gateway features and median/roadside plantings . <br />
