TASK 7 — BIDDING SERVICES $ 49500.00 <br /> Additional work activities to be completed under Task 7 include the following : <br /> 1 . Provide one set of hard copy reproducible plans and specifications and one electronic copy <br /> on compact disc . Coordinate with Indian River County in preparation of Bid Form as <br /> applicable . Indian River County shall be responsible for preparing contract documents, <br /> including "Front End Bid Documents", as required . <br /> 2 . Attend Pre-Bid Meeting. <br /> 3 , Answer Bidders questions and draft Addendum(s) for the wastewater improvements as may <br /> be required. <br /> 4 . Review bids for accuracy, reasonableness , and proposed sub-contractors . Assist Indian <br /> River County in negotiating a Contract with low Bidder. <br /> TASK 8 — CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES $ 219000.00 <br /> Additional work activities to be completed under Task 8 include the following : <br /> 1 . Construction Administration - Attend Pre-Construction Meeting . Act as liaison between <br /> Contractor, Jurisdictional Agencies and County for construction issues . Review shop <br /> drawings of the wastewater system structures and materials . Respond to "requests for <br /> information" from the Contractor for construction related issues . Attend monthly progress <br /> meetings and prepare progress report after each meeting. <br /> 2 . Project Inspection - Provide part time Project Inspector for duration of time required to meet <br /> permit conditions and provide reporting of substantial construction activities to the <br /> Engineer. Site Inspector time is based upon efficient site work and project infrastructure <br /> installation. Engineer is not responsible for time overruns during construction . This scope <br /> is based upon the provision of 120 hours for an Inspector during the wastewater system <br /> construction period (two hours per day for three months) . Engineer shall perform up to 6 site <br /> inspections to substantiate Contractor ' s application for payments and to attend substantial <br /> and final completion inspections with County staff. These services are in addition to those <br /> required for inspection of the original on-site gravity collection system . <br /> 3 . Project Completion and Certification — Using "as-built" survey data provided by the <br /> Contractor and inspection notes, prepare a punch list . Upon completion, revise plans to <br /> indicate "as-built" conditions . Complete and submit certification forms and "as-builts" to <br /> permitting agencies . Complete Indian River County 15 -point operating permit checklist for <br /> sewer and submit with required attachments . These services are in addition to those required <br /> for inspection of the original on- site gravity collection system <br /> Amendment No. 3 Attachment t _rev2 .doc Page 4 of 4 <br />
