Indian River County, Amendment No . 2 <br /> 58`h Avenue and State Road 60 <br /> Intersection Improvements <br /> occur as part of the 60 % County review . Revisions to the survey due to new or <br /> proposed right of way acquisitions will be made one ( 1 ) time, immediately after <br /> the 60% County review . <br /> C . Roadway Plans <br /> The preliminary roadway improvement plans , submitted October 2005 , will be developed <br /> into final construction documents suitable for project implementation . <br /> Roadway plans shall be prepared to include : plotting of survey data; establishment of <br /> profile grades ; key map; plan and profile sheets (including geometric calculations) ; <br /> typical section sheets; summary of quantities; summary of drainage structures ; cross- <br /> section sheets at 100 ' intervals (including earthwork computations) ; signing and <br /> pavement marking plans ; and other detail sheets necessary to convey the intent of the <br /> scope of services outlined herein . All plans shall be prepared in the English units . <br /> The Roadway plans will be submitted to the COUNTY for review at the 60% , 90% and <br /> 100 % plan completion . <br /> F . Landscaping <br /> Upon County approval of the schematic design drawings, the ENGINEER shall <br /> prepare landscape planting plans and hardscape improvement plans for the project <br /> area. These drawings will address the following specific design areas : <br /> • Specialty paving at various locations as designated during Schematic <br /> Design <br /> • Landscape Plantings in medians and along roadway edges <br /> • Other site furnishings and fixtures that may be defined during <br /> Schematic Design <br /> • Pedestrian scale lighting as may be defined during Schematic Design <br /> • Retaining walls or other landscape features either required or desired <br /> along the corridor <br /> The landscape and hardscape plans will be prepared and submitted at the required <br /> stages concurrent with the roadway plans . <br /> 1 . Irrigation Plans <br /> The ENGINEER will prepare construction level irrigation plans for the <br /> project which will include only those areas that the COUNTY is obligated <br /> to maintain. Revisions to irrigation systems on adjacent private property <br /> are not a part of this scope. The irrigation construction plans will be <br /> prepared in conjunction with the 90% and 100% plans submittal . <br /> H . Signalization Design <br /> The Traffic Signal Design services will include the preparation of plans and <br /> specifications necessary for the construction and implementation of the traffic <br /> Page 3 of 7 <br />
