AM A final report by the Zoning Commission was read to the Commissioners by the County Attorney setting forth certain changes as follows: "After full and complete consideration thereof, upon motion made by Mr. Reams and seconded by Mr. Holmes and unanimously carried, the Commission makes the final report after such public hearing -lAe to the Board of County Commissioners, which final report is as follows* to -wit: 1. That this Commission approves and recommends each and every change set forth in the testative recommendations and in the Notice of Public Hearing with the following exceptions only: (a) That the item recommending striking sub-paragrpph a of Section 9 entitled "F-1 Agricultural District1° be deferred pending further consideration by this Comm- ission and those interested with the thought to those interested in this sub -paragraph that the only effect of the striking of sub -paragraph a would be to require those in the Agri- cultural District to secure permits and pay the permit fees and that this action did not B mean nor contemplate that any other regulations were contemplated and it would only change the ordinance to permit the County to see that construction complied with the zoning regu- lations before such construct1on was done instead of afterward and that it was this Comm- ission's thought that this change in the Agricultural District much of the lands now in actual use for agricultural purposes and not subdivided and not within 300 feet of the center line of any public road which is now in other zones other than agricultural could be placed in the Agricultural Zone thereby making the entire zoning regulations more realistic and practicable. (b) That the recommendations as set forth in Paragraph 1 of the Public Notice could then be reduced to make these proposed changes apply only to that part of the property within 330 feet of the center line of any public road. It was the consensus of opinion of the Members of the Commission that a copy of these Minutes with this action should be sent to the Indian River County Farm Bureau and to the Indian River County Cattlemen's Association with the idea that the County Commissioners would proceed to act on all of the recommendations at this meeting except the matter dealing with said sub -paragraph a which would be held over until October to give these two organiza- tions time to meet and consider this item. After hearing the request of B. J. McCullers as presented by his attorney, L. B. Vocelle, upon motion of Mr. Reams and by Mr. Holmes and unanimously carried, the Commission tentatively approved and tentatively reports and recommends to the County Commissioners that the zoning map be changed in order that the area South of a line 150 feet South of Church Road and East of a line 155 feet East of the Old Dixie Highway and North of a line 150 feet North of Glendale Road and West of the Florida East Coast Railway be changed to M-1 Industrial l District. Upon the written request of Mr. Joe Earman and on motion made by Mr. Reams and seconded by Mr. Holmes and unanimously carried, the Commission tentatively approved and ten- tatively recommends and reports to the County Commissioners that the area from Glendale Road C 0 :�v
