<br />3. That the lands contained in the Plat of Roseland according to the plat recorded
<br />in Plat Book 1, page 78, in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Brevard County,
<br />Florida, and the public rights of ways are not a State or Federal road maintained by the
<br />State of Florida and said lands are not located within the corporate limits of any municipa-
<br />lity and are located in Indian River County, Florida.
<br />4. That a public hearing thereon Is been heald by the Board of County Commissioners
<br />of Indian River County, Florida, in the office of said Baord in the Indian River County Court-�
<br />house, Vero Beach, Florida, on October 1, 1957, at 10:00 o'clock A.M.;

<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board does herewith vacate, abandon, discontinue
<br />and close any existing public or private street, alleyway, road, highway or other place used
<br />for travel or any portion thereof and does herewith renounce and discalim any right of the
<br />County and the public in and to any land shown, delineated or in connection with the Plat of
<br />Roseland, recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Brevard County, Florida,
<br />idin Plat Book 1, page 78; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Plat of Roseland, as recorded in the office of the

<br />Upon Motion made by W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner McCullers, and
<br />'unanimously carried, a committee consisting of Ed Schmucker, County Engineer and County.
<br />Attorney, Sherman N. Smith, Jr. was appointed to draw up a tentative bulkhead shoreline.
<br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner ®. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner Mc -
<br />Cullers and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted.
<br />R E S O L U T I O N --- School Trustees Election

<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to law, an election is to be held in Special Tax School District
<br />f
<br />d No. 1, of Indian River County, Florida, on November 5, 1957; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County, Florida, has here-
<br />tofore adopted a Resolution calling said election; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the School Code of the State of Florida provides that the Board of Public
<br />Instruction shall designate the number of inspection boards for each precinct and appoint the
<br />inspection boards, and the General Election Laws of the State of Florida provide that the
<br />number of inspection boards for each precinct and the inspection boards shall be determined by
<br />the Board of County Commissioners; and,
<br />cared to the public and
<br />to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in
<br />and to
<br />any lands shown on said plat.

<br />Board has published a notice of a public hearing thereon one time

<br />Vero Beach Press
<br />Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in Indian River
