Rub <br /> ATTACHMENT " A" <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> DATE/TIME : May 2 , 2005 9 : 00 am <br /> LOCATION : Station # 3 Airport <br /> IN ATTENDANCE : <br /> Chief McCloud John King <br /> Jason Fykes Paul Dritenbas <br /> Fred Monroe <br /> 1 , The General Program for the renovation/addition of this station was provide by Ed Prime via email <br /> on 4/27/05 . <br /> Jason, the scope of work for station 3 will be to extend the two existing apparatus bays to 85 feet . The <br /> entire living area expanded as well to the north and west . The kitchen to commercial grade appliances stove <br /> (gas), dishwasher, larger bathrooms , office (dispatch room), HVAC , and dorms . The garage on the south <br /> side of the training room extended to the south . If you have any further questions let me know . Ed <br /> 2 . The program for this station is to repair the damage caused by the hurricanes and bring the station <br /> up to Building Code and ADA compliance . Generally update this station for the next 40 years . This <br /> station is also the back up location for the Administration Offices normally located at Station # 1 . <br /> 3 . Fred Monroe brought to the meeting a copy of the site plan developed for the property for a past <br /> project. It appears from this site plan there is room to expand the station in all four directions . The <br /> West would be the least desirable since 41s' street will be widen at some point in the future . Barth <br /> will try to obtain a copy of this plan from Mosby . Barth will also investigate if the station property <br /> is part of an overall Airport property drainage plan or if the station is a stand-alone drainage plan . <br /> 4 . The drawings for the existing building indicate the structure is bearing on grade beams and piles . <br /> Soil borings will need to be completed to ensure suitable bearing capacity . <br /> 5 . Some of the changes/additions/renovations are as follow ; <br /> • Demolish all interior drywall walls and ceiling, acoustical ceilings due to being damaged <br /> by water from the hurricanes . <br /> • Remove and install new impact windows and doors . <br /> • Extend Apparatus Bays approx 32 feet <br /> • Upgrade/Enlarge dormitory/kitchen/dayroom to house 10 firemen per shift <br /> • Add 1 restroom/shower in the dorm area <br /> 12 <br />
