TASK 1 .3 : CONTRACT DOCUMENT PREPARATION <br /> Task 1 . 3 . 1 Contract Drawings <br /> Planform drawings will be prepared at 1 " = 100 ' and will serve as the basis for the <br /> contract drawings in the final package sent to prospective bidders . Previously acquired <br /> aerial photographs (tentatively at this writing , the April 2002 photography conducted by <br /> the Florida Department of Environmental Protection) will serve as the base for computer- <br /> generated overlay of the final mitigation reef design . Construction drawings shall include <br /> the following features overlaid on the aerial photography images : <br /> • the design of the mitigation reef including material location , sizing , and placement <br /> clarifications ; <br /> • construction access and equipment/materials staging areas (presumably , the Port of <br /> Fort Pierce) ; <br /> • existing FDEP and intermediate survey reference monument locations and state plane <br /> coordinate values ; and , <br /> • roads and other identifiable upland features as may be appropriate. <br /> Additional sheets will include the Project Title Sheet and location bathymetry . At this <br /> time , it is anticipated that five (5) sheets will be required to depict the above information <br /> in its entirety . Submittals will be provided to the County at sixty (60) and ninety (90) <br /> percent for County review and comment. ATM shall revise submittals promptly and shall <br /> furnish a master set of 100% drawings for County approval prior to reproduction of <br /> copies suitable for distribution to prospective bidders. <br /> Task 1 .3 .2 Construction Contract Documents <br /> ATM shall prepare and transmit to the County for review and comment a sixty (60) and <br /> ninety (90) percent level set of Contract Documents . Components of the Contract <br /> Documents that are the responsibility of ATM include : Supplemental General <br /> Specifications, Technical Specifications , and Appendix Information (Permits , and Jet <br /> Probe Logs as appropriate) . <br /> ATM assumes that preparation of all remaining sections of the Contract Documents are <br /> the responsibility of the County and will be furnished to ATM by the County for ATM <br /> assembly into a comprehensive Contract Document package . The sixty (60) and ninety <br /> (90) percent submittals will be prepared and submitted to the County in three-ring <br /> binders for County review and comment. <br /> ATM shall forward the ninety (90) percent submittal of the contract documents and <br /> drawings to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for review by <br /> the Bureau of Beaches and Wetland Resources staff. Following receipt of FDEP <br /> comments , ATM and County shall meet and review comments, and ATM shall revise the <br /> construction contract documents based on those comments deemed mutually <br /> acceptable to ATM and County. FDEP comments will be incorporated along with County <br /> comments to the ninety (90) percent submittal and will result in a final ( 100%) submittal . <br /> Upon notification from County that Contract Documents are complete , ATM shall <br /> prepare and furnish twenty (20) bound contract drawing and contract document sets to <br /> County for subsequent County distribution to prospective bidders , staff, FDEP , USACE <br /> and other governmental entities as County deems appropriate . <br /> CAMDOWSITEMMAmbersand Post-Constriction Services Contract Amendment 06 - Reduced Scope 03-12-03.doc 5 <br />
