2.03 TEMPORARY DUST CONTROL <br />Dust formed <br />as a result of the <br />construction shall be controlled <br />by the <br />Contractor. <br />Cleaning of work <br />areas and application of dust <br />control <br />materials are <br />the most effective methods <br />of dust control. <br />2.04 TEMPORARY WATER CONTROL <br />A. The flow of water through the construction site shall be controlled <br />by the Contractor such that it does not damage any constructed <br />items; however, it shall be diverted and channeled to effectively <br />leave the site as soon as possible. Puddling and ponding on the <br />site is not permitted. <br />B. Water shall be controlled such that it does not enter excavated <br />areas, nor is deposited on or against constructed features. <br />2.05 TEMPORARY DEBRIS CONTROL <br />A. Provision shall be made by each Contractor to have available <br />adequate containers to hold any and all debris that is to be <br />generated from the project. Containers should be covered to <br />prevent wind blowing paper, plastic, and lightweight products <br />around and off the site. <br />B. Instructions shall be given to personnel to utilize the trash <br />containers. Containers shall be placed in convenient places at the <br />site. <br />C. At least once per week, a thorough cleaning of trash and debris <br />shall be made at the construction site.
