The cost of this effort shall be included in the pay item in <br />which the work is most closely associated with. <br />SC -6.20.A Indemnification <br />SC -6.20.A Delete existing paragraph 6-20.A in its entirety. <br />SC -13.03 Test and Inspections <br />SC -13.03. B. Delete the first sentence of paragraph GC -13.03.B (up to the colon) in its <br />entirety, and insert the following sentences in its place: <br />B. OWNER shall employ and pay for the services of an independent testing <br />laboratory to perform all initial inspections, tests, or approvals required by <br />the Contract Documents except those inspections, tests, or approvals listed <br />immediately below. Subsequent inspections, tests, or approvals required <br />after initial failing inspections, tests, or approvals shall be paid for by the <br />CONTRACTOR by backcharge to subsequent applications for payment. <br />The following inspections, tests, or approvals shall be provided by and paid <br />for by the CONTRACTOR. <br />SC -13.07 Correction Period <br />SC -13.07.A. Add the following sentence immediately after the last sentence in SC -13.07.A: <br />The OWNER and CONTRACTOR agree that a warranty inspection shall be <br />scheduled no later than eleven (11) months after final payment under this <br />Contract so that the OWNER and the CONTRACTOR may inspect and <br />otherwise examine the Work prior to the expiration of the Performance Bond. <br />14.02 Progress Payments <br />SC -14.02.A.2 Delete paragraph GC -14.02.A.2 in its entirety and insert the following <br />paragraph in its place: <br />The CONTRACTOR shall make the following certification (Affidavit) on each request for <br />payment: <br />"I hereby certify that the labor and materials listed on this request for <br />payment have been used in the construction of this work and <br />payment received from the last request for payment has been used to <br />make payments to all subcontractors, laborers, material men and <br />suppliers except as listed below." <br />SC -14.02.8.5.
