Existing contours. <br />--- <br />Contour interval to be designated by the County Engineer. <br />Elevations are to be based on United States coast and geodetic survey sea level datum. All <br />existing public drainage canals and ditches. If it is chosen not to sketch contours the <br />elevations & requirements of Section X, paragraph 4.(k) shall comply. <br />10. Street and general area drainage plan showing the size and direction of flow of <br />all surface waters. <br />11. Dedicated Park areas must be so indicated on plat (See Sec. X paragraph 12.) <br />12. When the final plat has been so prepared, the same shall be submitted to the <br />County Engineer, whether or not all contemplated improvements as set forth in the preliminary <br />plat as approved have been completed or if not completed, the estimated cost of the uncom- <br />pleted items and whether or not the bond for completion has been posted with the Clerk of the <br />Circuit Court and whether or not he recommends approval of the final plat. If disapproved, the <br />final plat shall be returned to the subdivider for compliance and if approved, a certificate <br />of such approval shall be endorsed upon the final plat by the County Engineer and the same <br />may then be recorded in the public records. After final approval and recording the subdivider <br />shall immediately furnish the County with three (3) linen prints of the final plat as may be <br />required by the County Engineer. <br />SECTION VII <br />The proposed subdivision layout shall conform to the County's master plan and off- <br />icial map. The arrangement, character, extent, width, grade and location of all streets <br />hi! shall conform to the official map and master plan and shall be considered in relation to <br />n existing and planned streets to topographical conditions to public convenience and safety and <br />in their appropriate relation the the proposed uses of the land to be served by such streets. <br />Where not shown on the official map or master plan, the arrangement and other design standards <br />or streets shall conform to the provisions found herein, to -wit: <br />1. The arrangement of streets in new subdivisions shall make provision for the conti <br />ation of the existing streets in adjoining areas. <br />2. Where adjoining areas are not subdivided, the arrangement of streets in new <br />subdivisions shall make provision for the proper projection of streets. <br />3. When a new subdivision adjoins unsubdivided land, then the new streets shall <br />be carried to the boundaries of the land proposed to be subdivided. <br />4. Street jogs with center line offsets shall be avoided. <br />5. Dead-end streets shall be avoided but where necessary they shall be provided at <br />the closed end with a turn -around for an outside roadway diameter of at least 80' and a street <br />property line diameter of at least 100'. <br />6. Where a subdivision abuts or contains an existing arterial street, the County <br />require marginal access streets or other such treatment as may be necessary for adequate pro- <br />tection of residential properties and to afford separation of through and local traffic. <br />7.
