See Section X-4-(1) for finger develop, <br />�iment right of ways. <br />8. The intersection of more than two streets at one point shall be avoided except <br />where it is impractical to aecure a proper street system otherwise. Streets shall intersect one <br />another at an angle as near to a right angle as possible. <br />9. Where a tract is subdivided into larger parcels than ordinary building lots, such;,j; • <br />parcel shall be arranged so as to allow the opening of future streets, extension of required <br />easements for public utilities and logical further resubdivision. <br />f <br />10. Reserve or nuisance strips controlling access to streets or interfering with <br />extensions of streets or public easements are prohibited. <br />11. Street grades shall conform to the drainage plan. Grades greater than 5 percent`p <br />must be approved. <br />12. Half streets are prohibited except where the whole street width is not owned by <br />the subdivider or is not dedicated to the public. <br />13. Existing platted or dedicated streets within the subdivision or adjacent thereto;' <br />shall be treated and considered as if the same were being opened up and proposed by the sub- <br />;; <br />Idivider unless the County shall find and determine that the existing street meets all of the <br />present requirements of the County. <br />14. Names and numbers of all new streets shall not duplicate existing or platted <br />streets unless the same is a continuation of or in alignment with the existing or platted <br />street, in which event, the same shall then contain the existing name or number unless the <br />County consents to the changing of the entire name or number. Street name or number designa- <br />tion signs in accordance with the County's established standard shall be erected by the sub- <br />divider, one for each intersection. (See Sex X, paragraph 6). <br />15. Private streets may be provided, provided the County finds that the same will <br />not be required as <br />public streets in the over-all <br />County plan. There shall be no maintenance <br />or improvements of <br />private streets by the County. <br />16. The <br />joining in <br />street arrangement shall not be <br />their own land and in <br />such as to cause hardship to owners of ad- <br />convenient access to it. <br />property <br />platting <br />providing <br />17.
