Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner Ro <br />Graves and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was adopted: <br />R E S O L U T I O N -- Secondary Roads - Extension of <br />Glendale Road to Range Line Road <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, has <br />heretofore adopted its resolution requesting the State Road Department of Florida to inc <br />in its secondary road fund budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1958, among other' <br />things, the paving of Glendale Road, State Road Glendale Road, Section 8858-151, from State <br />Road 5 to Lateral B Road; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has now determined that it would be to <br />the best interest of the County to extend the construction of this road West from the abo1ve <br />proposed terminus a distance of two (2) miles to the range line road; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Flo ida, <br />that this Board does herewith respectfully request the State Road Department to extend the <br />above proposed construction project as outlined above. <br />Commissioner Robert Graves said he was still getting requests for Blue Cypress Lake <br />to be closed to all commercial fishing. The Board requested Sherman Smith, Jr. to write anot <br />letter to the Game & Fresh Water Fish Commission stating that the citizens of Indian River <br />County demand that Blue Cypress Lake be closed to all commercial fishing. <br />A letter was received from the Woman's Club of Vero Beach regarding the Vero Beach <br />Public Library. Said letter was read and upon Motion made by Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr., <br />seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, said letter was ordered filed for <br />consideration at a later date. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner <br />Hamilton and unanimously carried, the County Attorney, Sherman N. Smith, Jr. was requested to <br />file condemnation proceedings on 16th Street within the next 30 days. <br />The County Engineer pointed out on the aerial maps the new alignment as laid out by <br />the State Road Department and all members agreed that said new alignment was satisfactory <br />with them. <br />a <br />v,i,i <br />�3 <br />
