(b) <br />When a water system <br />is provided, plans must be submitted to <br />the Florida <br />State Board of Health and to the County <br />Engineer and/or the County Commissioners <br />I, <br />for approval.,1 <br />'3 <br />• <br />(c) <br />The top of all water pipes are to have a minimum cover of 30 <br />inches below <br />the crown of the road or one foot below <br />the swale ditches, whichever governs. <br />(d) <br />All water pipes are <br />to be located on the North and East side <br />of the <br />streets. <br />(e) <br />I <br />Water plants are to <br />be enclosed in a typical subdivision home, otherwise <br />an architect's or engineer's sketch of the building for the water plant shall be submitted <br />for approval to the County Engineer and/or Board of County Commissioners. <br />ai <br />!I <br />(f) The water plant site must be chosen and approved before any construction <br />s <br />begins. F� <br />I <br />r <br />(g) The water plant is to be a minimum of 200 feet from any residence. (This <br />distance to be the clear distance between structures.) • <br />(h) Please note fire hydrant regulations in Paragraph 8. <br />8. Fire hydrants shall be installed throughout the subdivision. Fire hydrants shal <br />be of the type and placed at such locations as shall be in accordance with applicable standard!; <br />hal <br />specifications of the County. <br />(a) That fire hydrants shall be placed only for water systems designed for iu, <br />fire control purposes. Specifically, fire hydrants are not to be installed for those water <br />systems which are designed for residential consumption only. Fire hydrants shall be placed on <br />a minimum size of six inch mains and shall be so positioned throughout the area that the <br />hydrant shall provide coverage for an area within a five -hundred foot radius. In granting any variance the <br />County Commissioners shall prescribe only conditions that they deem necessary to or desirable q • <br />for the public interest. In making its findings the County Commissioners shall take into <br />account the nature of the proposed use of land and the existing use of land in the vicinity, <br />I <br />the number of persons to reside or work in the proposed subdivision and the probable effect' <br />of the proposed subdivision upon traffic, the public health, safety and convenience conditions <br />in the subdivision and in the vicinity thereof. No variance shall be granted unless the County <br />Commissioners find: <br />1. That there are special circumstances or conditions affecting said property such <br />that the strict application of the provisions of this resolution would deprive the applicant <br />i <br />I. <br />of the reasonable use of his land, and, <br />2. The variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial <br />property right of the subdivider, and, <br />
