Trailer parking areas. <br />4. Accessory buildings and uses customarily incidental to any of the <br />above uses. <br />3. That the Zoning Resolution be changed by adding thereto a new Zoning District to <br />be as follows: <br />Section 13. M-1 A. Restricted Industrial District: <br />A. Uses permitted: <br />1. Any use permitted in the C-1 District <br />2. Building material storage yards, cleaning and dyeing plants, coal and <br />wood yards, ice plants, contractors plant or storage yards, commercial <br />launderies, machine shops, stone yards, animal hospitals or clinics, <br />storage warehouses, or any business of general wholesale type, light <br />manufacturing or industrial plants, and any kind of manufacture or treatment <br />of products similar thereto except the following are expressly prohibited: <br />Automobile wrecking yards, junk yards, and business or industry emitting <br />smoke, dust odors or fumes obnoxious to the neighborhood. <br />B. Front Yard Required: There shall be a front yard measured to the building <br />line of the main building of not less than 10 feet. <br />C. Side Yard Required: No side yard is required except for buildings or structures <br />holding or containing liquid or material having an abnormal bxplosion habit, <br />in which event there shall be a side yard measured to the side of the building <br />line of the main building of not less than 30 feet. <br />D. Rear Yard Required: There shall be a rear yard of not less than 10 feet <br />measured to the rear building line of the main building. In Addition, an <br />alley shall be provided for rear service of at least 15 feet in width. <br />One-half of any service alley may be on the abutting property. <br />E. Area for Sanitation: When not located on a central collection and sanitary <br />disposal system, there shall be provided adequate area for septic tank and <br />drain field as required by the Sanitary Code adopted by the Board of Health <br />ofFlorida. <br />Florida. <br />4. That the Zoning Resolution be changed by striking all of Paragraph A of Section 8, <br />M-1, Industrial District, and by inserting in lieu thereof the following: <br />A. Uses permitted: <br />1. Any use'permitted in the M-1 A District. <br />2. Automobile wrecking yards, junk yards, heavy industry and heavy <br />manufacturing and any other uses except those emitting smoke, <br />dust, fumes or odors obnoxious to the general area. <br />5. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the following described property, <br />situated in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: <br />All that property lying North of a line 150 feet South of Church <br />Street and lying East of a line 150 feet East of the Old Dixie <br />Highway and South of the City Limits of Vero Beach and West of <br />the Florida East Coast Railroad right of way; <br />be changed from R-1, Single Family District, to M-1 A, Restricted Industrial District. <br />All within the meaning and intent and as set forth and described in said Zoning <br />Resolution. <br />Mrs. Whittier appeared before the Board with her Attorney, Mr. B. T. Cooksey, who <br />stated they had gotten to the point in their suit with the Surrency's where they would like <br />for the County to now take an active part. The County was named a defendant in the suit <br />by the Surrency's but up to this time we had taken no active part.
