P� <br />f <br />64 <br />Board.shall determine that it is necessary to erect said building, that this Board may then <br />levy a building tax not exceeding five (5) mills per annum for not more than thirty (30) con- <br />k <br />secutive years in lieu of all other County building tax and that all persons wishing to be I <br />heard will be heard at the next regular meeting of this Board to be held on September 2, 1958 <br />:k <br />at 9 o'clock A. M. in the offices of said Board in the Indian River County Courthouse, <br />Vero Beach, Florida. <br />Mr. Paul Stevenson of Sebastian was in with regard to the realignment of State <br />Road 512. After considerable discussion in the matter and upon Motion made by Commissioner <br />Robert Graves, seconded by D. B. McCullers and unanimously carried, the following Resolution <br />was adopted: <br />"That the County consents to the changing of the grade and the lowering thereof, <br />and the realignment of State Road'512 to the area from the F. E. C. Railroad right of way <br />Vest to Louisiana Avenue, as set forth in the plans and specifications prepared by Lloyd & <br />Associates and as set forth in more detail in the letter from Lloyd and Associates to the <br />District Engineer of the State Road Department, dated June 17, 1958. <br />The Engineer brought up the matter of placing load limit signs on wooden bridges. <br />The Commissioners agreed this would be a good idea. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner Mc - <br />Cullers and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Plat of LeFever Subdivision. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner Mc - <br />Cullers and unanimously carried, it was decided that then any employee is ill and part-time <br />help has o be employed to carry on the work that any surplus salary may be distributed to <br />the regular employee involved. <br />The Board told the Engineer it would be alright for him to advertise for bids for <br />materials for a one year period instead of a six months period as has been done heretofore. <br />The following Notary Public Bonds were approved by Douglas Baiter, Clerk in the <br />amount of $500.00 each as required by law. <br />Stanley V. Buss w/ American Surety Co, of New York as surety. <br />Ramona Kingsley Vickers w/ St. Paul Fire and Marine Ins. Co. as surety. <br />.John Phillip Siegel w/ St. Paul Fire and Ma rine Ins. Co. as surety. <br />.Robert W. Pressly w/ American Surety Co. of New York as surety. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited were exam - <br />fined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills <br />and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants <br />,so issued from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book as provided <br />by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded berg <br />made a part of these minutes. <br />The County depositories filed their monthly statement, showing receipts and dis- <br />bursements of the various funds, which have been audited, were found to be correct. <br />r, <br />u <br />1 <br />[J <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
