The Notice to Proceed will be <br /> prepared by CDM for issuance to the Contractor. <br /> Subtask 2 . 3 — Services During Construction <br /> Construction services to be provided for the construction of the replacement well consist of the <br /> following: <br /> Part A - Detailed Observation of Construction <br /> Provide full-time, on-site observation of construction activities by one or more representatives <br /> as authorized and approved by the County. CDM will provide on-site construction observation <br /> services during the construction of the production well only. These services consist of daily <br /> observation of construction activities, collection and analysis of drill cuttings and water <br /> samples, testing, and certification of construction. CDM's on-site representative will prepare <br /> and submit weekly progress reports to the County during construction. The weekly progress <br /> reports shall include project status, contractor manpower, materials and equipment received, <br /> work performed, problems encountered and rectification, and weather conditions . CDM will <br /> also responsible for on-site construction observation services during pump installation, testing, <br /> flushing, connections at both ends of the new piping from the well, and <br /> electrical /instrumentation appurtenances . <br /> Part B - Review Pay Requests <br /> CDM's representative will note actual quantities of materials used, depths drilled, well <br /> development time utilized, etc . Contractor requests for payment will be reviewed to verify the <br /> requests are consistent with the amount of work accomplished . <br /> Part C - Issue Interpretations <br /> CDM will issue necessary interpretations and clarifications of the construction contract <br /> documents, in writing, and prepare change orders as required . CDM will interpret the <br /> requirements of the construction contract documents, evaluate the work performed thereunder, <br /> and make recommendations on any claims by the Contractor. <br /> Part D - Report <br /> CDM will prepare a report documenting the well construction activities, well construction <br /> details, water quality, and well performance. <br /> Part E - Certificate of Completion <br /> CDM will prepare a certificate of completion for the new well and raw water piping facilities . <br /> Record drawings of the new facilities will be prepared .
