de <br /> IMPLEMENTATION OF THE <br /> EAST INDIAN RIVER COUNTY MASTER STORMWATER <br /> MANAGEMENT PLAN : <br /> WORK ORDER No . 5 <br /> TO THE <br /> PROFESSIONAL ENGINEEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN CARTER ASSOCIATES, INC. , AND <br /> INDJAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> FOR <br /> FINAL DESIGN SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION <br /> MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR STORMWATER POLLUTION <br /> CONTROL SYSTEMS IN THE MAIN RELIEF CANAL, THE <br /> SOUTH RELIEF CANAL, AND THE NORTH RELIEF CANAL <br /> Pursuant to the Professional Engineering Services Agreement ( MASTER <br /> AGREEMENT ) dated May 8 , 2001 , by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political <br /> subdivision of the State of Florida , hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY , and CARTER <br /> ASSOCIATES , INC . , Vero Beach , Florida , hereinafter referred to as the ENGINEER , this <br /> WORK ORDER No . 5 is an extension of and hereby becomes a part of the MASTER <br /> AGREEMENT as follows : <br /> SECTION 1 = PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION <br /> In accordance with the East Indian River County Master Stormwater Management <br /> Plan ' s ( Master Plan ) recommended improvements and actions , and also in accordance <br /> with the COUNTY' s Florida Department of Environmental Protection Phase II MS4 Permit , <br /> WORK ORDER NO . 5 is for final design services for pollution control systems in the Main <br /> Relief Canal , the South Relief Canal , and the North Relief Canal . The Main Relief Canal <br /> and the South Relief Canal were discussed in a Preliminary Engineering Report prepared <br /> by the ENGINEER , titled Vortex Treatment Units and Floating Debris Capture Equipment , <br /> dated November 2003 , The North Relief Canal ' s pollution control system will be similar to <br /> the one to be designed forthe South Relief Canal . This Work is discussed in more detail in <br /> SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE ENGINEER , <br /> SECTION II = COUNTY OBLIGATIONS <br /> The COUNTY will comment on the ENGINEER ' s work in a timely fashion .
