D <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />0 <br />.9-991 <br />faithful and untiring service above and beyond the normal duties required of that office; Now <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Coupty Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />both in their official capacity as representative of the people of Indian River County and <br />personally and individually that this Board does herewith express the thanks, gratitude and <br />appreciation of the Board and the individual members thereof for the record of service to the <br />people of this County as established by the Honorable W. C. Graves, Jr., on this, the occasion <br />of his retirement from public office; and., <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT A CERTIFIED COPY HEREOF shall be furnished to the Hon - <br />orable W. C. Graves, Jr., and to the press and radio. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald seconded by Commissioner McCullers and <br />unanimously adopted, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />R E S O L U T I O N -- Amend Regulations of S/D of Land. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />that the resolution heretofore adopted by this Board regulating the subdivision of lands in <br />Indian River County, Florida, be and the same is herewith amended by adding thereto the follow- <br />ing provision, to -wit: <br />At the intersection of any street with another street, the plat shall provide radial <br />returns of 25 feet in order that the corner of each block shall be rounded off. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and <br />unanimously carried, the Board tentatively approves the Plat of Ve1Mar Manor without as:park <br />area for the reason that this is a subdivision consisting of only five acres. <br />The County Engineer stated that the City of Sebastian had approved a Railroad cross <br />at 11th street in Sebastian. The Board requested that the County Engineer contact Mr. J. W. <br />Fox, Florida East Coast Railway Trustee and get his O.K. on this site for a crossing, and also <br />check to see if they would allow the crossing without lights and gates and if so what would be <br />their estimate of cost for putting in this crossing. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Gifford and <br />unanimously carried, the County approves the request of General Development Corporation for <br />a proposed public road from U. S. #1 Highway across the right of way of the Florida East Coast <br />Railway as set forth on the present survey prepared by Lloyd and Associates dated December 10, <br />1958, more particularly described as 3125 South of Mile Post 216 in Sec. 17, Twp. 31 S. Range <br />39 East, with the provision that this right of way be 80 feet throughout and authorizes the <br />paving of the public cross-over by agreement between the County and the Railroad provided <br />General Development Corporation deposit with the Railroad its estimate of cost including <br />d;signal lights and gates with the understanding that the entire cost will be paid by the <br />General Development Corporation. <br />1 <br />-5:- <br />= S7 <br />5: - <br />=S <br />
