Parent Participation master Log compiled by the Family Resource coordinator (FRC). On going. <br /> Parent Participation Attendance Sheets faxed from collaborative and center-based parent programs <br /> the morning after the event to the Childcare Resources office. Reviewed twice each year. <br /> 3. REPORTING: What will you do with this information to show that change has occurred? <br /> How will you use or present these results to the consumer, the funder, the program, and <br /> the community? How will you use this information to improve your program? <br /> Reporting Chance: Goal I (to acquire school readiness skills) <br /> Comparison of ECHOS and DIBELS scores will allow us to compare our outcomes from year to <br /> year. <br /> Reporting Change: Goal 2 (Developmental Progress) <br /> Fall and spring assessment scores are reviewed and compared. This indicates problem areas to be <br /> addressed and measures progress. <br /> Reporting Chance: Goal 3 (Program Ouality) <br /> a. Standards of Quality Report is used to measure outcome success in the areas of: staff turnover, <br /> staff salary, staff in-service hours and student:teacher ratios. Pre and post testing will ascertain <br /> effectiveness of staff in-service hours for events produced by Childcare Resources. <br /> b. Center accreditation copies ensure centers remain in compliance with that quality requirement. <br /> Reporting Change: Goal 4 (Parent Education) <br /> a. Parent Participation Master Log documents that parents have met orientation, and parent- <br /> teacher conference requirements, and have participated in a minimum of 3 parent participations. <br /> This data is used to determine 100% compliance. <br /> b. Attendance sheets help ensure that parents get "credit" for program attendance. <br /> Sharing Results <br /> With the Consumer: Assessment results are shared with parents during conferences, helping them <br /> better understand their child' s development. With permission, results are shared with other <br /> agencies providing service, giving them additional resources. Childcare Resources shares results <br /> on center quality with parents, helping them feel more secure about having to leave their child each <br /> day. <br /> With the Funder: Results are used to show progress and measure outcome success. They document <br /> that the program is satisfactorily delivering the services for which it is being funded. <br /> With the Program: Results are used by Board and staff to validate that the mission is being carried <br /> forward. Evaluative information helps target areas for improvement and/or growth. <br /> With the Community: Sharing measurable results about your program leads to community <br /> awareness that in turn may lead to new resources. Outcome success also results in attracting <br /> quality people to the organization. <br /> 12 <br />
