<br />WHEREAS, orginal notice of disapproval of application for tax exemption with entry
<br />of service upon the respective applicants therefor, as hereinafter listed, have been filed with
<br />the Clerk of this Board as follows:

<br />This Board, sitting as a Board of Equalization, has reviewed each of said applicat
<br />and evidence presented to the Tax Assessor upon which applicant based his claim for exemption,
<br />and all persons appearing were heard, and each of said applications and the disapproval thereof
<br />having been duly considered and reviewed by this Board, gogether with such evidence, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, That the decision of the Tax Assessor with respect to each and all of
<br />the above described applications, be, and it is herewith affirmed.
<br />Mr. Art Jones Representing Range Line Groves, Inc., appeared before the Boatd pro-
<br />testing a 40% increase, so he said, in the assessed valuation of his property, After some
<br />discussion in the matter, the Board adjourned to the Tax Assessor's office so that the tax
<br />assessor could show the Board on the tax roll where there was a general raise in assessment
<br />values throughout the County and not just on Mr. Jones Property.
<br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald
<br />and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was adopted:
<br />R E S O L U T I O N
<br />WHEREAS, due notice by publication thereof has been given that the County Assessor
<br />of Taxes of Indian River County, Florida, would meet with the Board of County Commissioners
<br />on the 21st day of July, 1959, and would at such time present the tax assessment roll of said
<br />County for the year 1959 for equalization, as will appear by proof of publication of such -notice
<br />recorded in the minutes of this meeting; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to such notice, the County Tax Assessor did meet with the Board of
<br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on the 21st day of July, 1959, at the
<br />hour of 9:00 o'clock A. M. in the office of said Board in the Indian River County Courthouse,
<br />Vero Beach, Florida, and the Board of County Commissioners has, at said time, convened as a
<br />board of equalization for the purpose of examining said roll and of receiving complaints and
<br />testimony with regard to the same and with regard to the value of any property, real or person
<br />as fixed by the County Assessor of Taxes upon said roll; and
<br />WHEREAS, the said Board of County Commissioners convened as a board of.equalization
<br />did continue in session from time to time until this meeting; and,
