F' 502 <br />- RE S GLUT I ON �I - <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, F <br />that the rate of taxation necessary to meet the expenditures of the Board of County Commissionei <br />of Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1960, pursuant to the <br />budget of said Board as heretofore published and approved, is as hereinafter levied and that <br />the tax rate as hereinafter shown and set forth be and it is hereby levied on all taxable <br />property in Indian River County, Florida, for the.year 1959 with the rate hereinafter set out, <br />to -wit <br />1. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the General Fund, it is determined <br />and hereby declared that a tax rate of Seven and Three -tenths (7.3) mills upon the dollar be <br />levied and hereby imposed. <br />2. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Road and Bridge Fund, it is <br />determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Five and five -tenths (5.5) mills upon the <br />dollar be levied and is hereby imposed. <br />3. In order -to meet the estimated expenses of the Fine and Forfeiture Fund, <br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Two and nine -tenths (2.9) mills <br />jupon the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed. <br />4. In order to provide funds to the Indian River County Public Health Unit, it <br />is determined and hereby declared that a tau rate of One (1.0) mill upon the dollar be levied, <br />assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and being in the County of Indian <br />River, the proceeds of which when collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of theState <br />of Florida for,the account of the State Board of Health of the State of Florida to be expended <br />by said State Board of Health as provided by Chapter 154, Florida Statutes. <br />5. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Hospital Bor&Interest and <br />Sinking Fund and to pay the principal and interest of the Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollar <br />($750,000.00) Indian River County, Florida, Hospital Bonds, dated August 1, 1959, it is <br />determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of One and Seventy-five hundredths (1.75) Mills <br />upon the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tax Assessor of Indian River County, Florida, be <br />and he is hereby directed to assess and levy all of the foregoing taxes as fixed and levied <br />by this Board upon the taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, just and due taxation, <br />and the Tax Collector of Indian River County, Florida, be and he is hereby directed to collect <br />said taxes and pay over the same to theBoard and that a certified copy of this Resolution be <br />furnished to the County Assessor of Taxes and the County Collector of Taxes. <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />WHEREAS, all acts having been performed and all proceedings had as required by <br />law preliminary to the levy of taxes in Indian River County, Florida, for the year 1959; and, <br />WHEREAS, the respective Boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and <br />taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixed <br />such tax levies and have certified the same to the Board of County Commissioners and this <br />Board having accepted the same and having found them to be proper; Now, therefore, <br />1 <br />1 <br />�J <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />0 <br />
