n u 1 1 0 1 1 1 49°7 WHEREAS, this Board did receive and examine said tentative budget for each fund and did require such changes to be made as the Board did deem necessary and the auditor's estimate of receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought forward not having been revised, this Board did prepare a statement summarizing all of the tentative budgets showing for each budget in the total of all budgets the proposed tax millages, the balances, the reserves and the total of each major classification of receipts and expenditures classified according to the classification of accounts prescribed by the Comptroller of the State of Florida; and, WHEREAS, this Board did cause said summary statement to be advertised one time in a newspaper of general circulation published in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: In the issue of July 23, 1959, of the Vero Beach Press Journal, as will more fully appear by proof of publication thereof filed in the minutes of this Board; and, WHEREAS, this,Board did meet at the time and place stated in said advertisement for the purpose of hearing requests and complaints from the public regarding the budgets dnd for the purpose of holding 4(public hedring.and,,making whatever revisions in the budget it may deem) necessary; Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith tentatively adopt the budgets for the funds of this Board for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1959, and ending September 30, 1960, inthe form as heretofore prepared and duly advertised; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the tentative budgets shall be filed in the office of the County Auditor as a public record and the County Auditor shall transmit forthwith to the Comptroller of the State of Florida two copies of each of the tentative budgets as adopted, certified by the Chairman of this Board and by the County Auditor as a true and correct copy of the budget as adopted by this Board; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said budgets as tentatively adopted by this Board shall be considered as finally adopted and as official thirty (30) days from the date the budgets are transmitted to the State Comptroller and no report of exceptions to the budget as filed Ihas been made by the Comptroller. A letter was received from the DeKold Real Estate Agency stating that Mrs. Daphne Strickland withdraws her offer submitted at the July 14th meeting to sell or lease Lots 24, 25, 26 and 27, Block 35, Original Town. Said letter was ordered filed. The Clerk stated she had received two bids for putting in the sewer line to the Porhorsky house. One from Dellerman Plumbing Company for $164.00 and one from Ambrose Plumbing Company in theamount of $245.00. Upon Motion made by (bmmissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, the bid by Dellerman Plumbing Company in the amount of $164.00 was accepted. The Board also asked the Clerk to notify the persons who had (asked to rent the house that the rent would be $45.00 per month and that the Board would not make any repairs whatsoever to the house but would put the sewer line in.
