DIVISION 2 - MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC <br />Section 2A — Maintenance of Traffic <br />1. Contractor shall maintain traffic within the limits of the project for the duration of <br />the clearing operation in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation's <br />Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MU 1 CD ) latest edition, FDO T1 index <br />600 Series and FDOT Standard Specification Section 102. <br />2. Cost of Maintenance of Traffic shall be Lump Sum. <br />Section 2B — Protection of Public <br />1. Provide, erect and maintain barriers, lights and other devices as required to protect <br />general public, workers and adjoining property. <br />2. There shall <br />be no separate <br />payment <br />for protection <br />of public. The cost shall be <br />included in <br />the Lump Sum <br />Price for <br />Maintenance <br />of Traffic. <br />DIVISION 3 - SITE WORK <br />Section 3A — Clearing <br />1. Trim back trees and brush that extend into area designated on plans to be cleared. <br />2. Clear trees and brush <br />one <br />inch in diameter or <br />greater from designated <br />clearing area, <br />except trees <br />and <br />brush designated in <br />field to remain. <br />3. Cut to a minimum height of 2" above existing grade. <br />4. Backfill any holes or depressions resulting from clearing operations. <br />5. Completely remove and dispose of all cleared materials. <br />6. Cost of all work under this Section shall be included in the lump sum for clearing. <br />Pave 15 o'40 <br />
