Provide up to 6 monthly and 1 final engineering observations of completed water and sewer work to <br /> confirm Contractor' s pay application quantities . Review and comment on 6 monthly and 1 final <br /> Contractor' s payment requests . <br /> Task 1 d - Site Observations <br /> A . Routine Site Observations . Provide periodic construction observations sufficient to assure <br /> conformance to permitted plans . Observe : gravity sewer and manhole installation and backfilling ; <br /> directional bore gravity sewer : directional bore force main ; wet well installation and grouting ; pump <br /> station mechanical equipment installations ; pump station drive ; roadway and easement restoration . <br /> Observation time is based upon 3 hrs per daytimes 3 days per week times 8 weeks (total 72 hours , <br /> including travel time) . Should Contractor take more than 8 weeks to install the site water and sewer <br /> systems , additional services will be required subject to COUNTY authorization beyond this Work <br /> Order . <br /> B . Water and Wastewater Completion Tests . Attend and witness water and force main pressure <br /> tests , gravity sewer exfiltration test , and pump station start- up tests . <br /> Task 1e - Engineering As -Builts <br /> A . As- Built Drawings . From record documents and survey as-builts provided by the Contractor , <br /> revise the utility construction plans to indicate "as-built" utility conditions . <br /> Task 2 — CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES — SITE WORK & FDEP <br /> In general , CONSULTANT will provide construction phase services to provide a basis for <br /> CONSULTANT to : <br /> o provide monthly reports and certify the construction to FDEP <br /> o address design and /or permitting issues that may arise during construction relative to site work <br /> and proposed improvements designed by the CONSULTANT . <br /> CONSULTANT will : <br /> (a) Schedule , prepare for and attend a pre-construction conference with FDEP , COUNTY and <br /> the Contractor to address permit and construction requirements , <br /> ( b) Confer with the COUNTY and Contractor to monitor the progress of construction , <br /> (c) Prepare up to 7 monthly project status reports and submit reports to FDEP , <br /> (d ) Perform up to 1 site visit every other week during construction to check construction for <br /> compliance with the FDEP permit and Contract Documents , <br /> (e) Conduct a final site visit to check the construction for general compliance with the FDEP <br /> permit , <br /> (f) Develop (with COUNTY and Contractor) , review and approve up to 2 change orders as <br /> may become warranted , <br /> (g ) Review and comment on up to 6 monthly and 1 final Contractor' s payment requests . <br /> ( h) Provide a final certification of construction and submit to FDEP on behalf of COUNTY . <br /> 3of6 <br />
