(McM) is pleased to provide this proposal to review various
11in sections of the Indian River County Code. The Indian River County Board of
6,,,, R 1i:V i1f-i1F,„!, i'1 hrt: Commissioners wishes to have the County's procedures and regulations as they pertain to
transportation concurrency, traffic impact studies and new development roadway
mitigation improvements. The review will be performed in order to assess and compare
these code requirements and protocol with other areas in South Florida. Comparisons
will be made with other Florida Counties in order to make recommendations for revisions
to the County's code and their requirements, if necessary.
McM attended a meeting in Indian River County where the traffic concurrency
requirements for the County were discussed by County Commissioners, staff and the
general public. An important issue that needs to be investigated is the timing of the
traffic concurrency approval and the timeline of concurrency through the County's land
development process.
