The <br /> Executive Director and the Family Resource Coordinator shall be hired by the <br /> Executive Committee. <br /> C . Administration and Finance Committee. The Administration and Finance <br /> Committee shall be composed of members from The Board. They shall be appointed by <br /> the President of The Board and shall include the Treasurer. This committee shall <br /> include but not be limited to supervising all financial activities, the budget, investments, <br /> acquisitions, capital expenditures, staff salaries and benefits, insurance coverage, fee <br /> schedules, contracts, retirement; to develop the operating budget with the assistance of <br /> the Administrative Coordinator, amend it as necessary and recommend it for approval <br /> to The Board . The Administration and Finance Committee shall also be responsible for <br /> updating and maintaining the Bylaws . <br /> D . Funding Committee. The Funding Committee shall be composed of members of The <br /> Board and others deemed appropriate by the committee . This committee shall include <br /> but not be limited to providing leadership in planning, supervising and managing all <br /> fund raising activities, i . e. annual, capital and endowment giving; to supervise the <br /> cultivation and renewal of support for CCCR; to consult closely with the Administration <br /> and Finance Committee to ascertain the funding needs on both short and long-term <br /> basis. <br /> E . Program Committee. The Program Committee shall be composed of members from <br /> The Board and others deemed appropriate by the committee . The Program Committee <br /> has the responsibility to work with the professional staff to set the direction of the <br /> educational goals of the CCCR program, and ensure that the educational programs <br /> being offered are consistent with the policies of the CCCR Board of Directors. <br /> F . Public Awareness Committee. The Public Awareness Committee shall be composed <br /> of members from The Board and others deemed appropriate by the committee . The <br /> Public Awareness Committee shall be charged with the responsibilities of insuring that <br /> the uppermost level of public relations is maintained at all times concerning CCCR. <br /> This committee is also responsible for building public awareness of the goals and <br /> programs offered by CCCR to families by preparing news articles, distributing <br /> brochures to educate the community about CCCR, publishing a newsletter three times a <br /> year, presenting a Speaker' s Bureau to interested organizations and assisting the <br /> Funding Committee in any way necessary to promote all attempts a fundraising. <br /> G. Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee shall consist of members from <br /> The Board. The Nominating Committee shall present to The Board not later than four <br /> (4) weeks before the annual meeting a report presenting nominations consistent with <br /> these Bylaws for directors to be elected at the annual meeting. The suggested names of <br /> the nominees, who have agreed to serve if elected to The Board for the ensuing year, <br /> shall appear in the notice of the annual report .
