Provide all construction equipment and facilities and temporary controls <br /> required to satisfactorily complete the work represented on the Drawings <br /> and described in the Specifications . <br /> r. <br /> 1 . 2 RESPONSIBILITY <br /> im A . All construction facilities and temporary controls remain the property of the <br /> Contractor establishing them and shall be maintained in a safe and useful <br /> condition until removed from the construction site . <br /> Be All false work , scaffolding , ladders , hoistways , braces , pumps , roadways , <br /> sheeting , forms , barricades , drains , flumes , and the like , any of which may <br /> be needed in construction of any part of the work and which are not herein <br /> described or specified in detail , must be furnished , maintained and <br /> removed by the CONTRACTOR , who is responsible for the safety and <br /> .. efficiency of such work and for any damage that may result from their <br /> failure or from their improper construction , maintenance or operation . <br /> •• C . In accepting the Contract , the CONTRACTOR assumes full responsibility <br /> for the sufficiency and safety of all hoists , cranes , temporary structures or <br /> work and for any damage which may result from their failure or their <br /> ow improper construction , maintenance or operation and will indemnify and <br /> save harmless the OWNER and ENGINEER from all claims , suits or <br /> actions and damages or costs of every description arising by reason of <br /> s' failure to comply with the above provision . <br /> 1 . 3 TEMPORARY UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br /> ow <br /> A .
