<br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida,
<br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of advertisement;
<br />and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation
<br />any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this advertisement for
<br />publication in the said newspaper.

<br />Notice is hereby given that th
<br />Board of County Commissioners of
<br />Indian River County, Florida, will
<br />receive sealed bids at the hour of
<br />9:00 A. M. on Tuesday, December
<br />1, 1959, and at said time publicly
<br />open the same at a meeting of said
<br />Board to be held in the County
<br />Commissioners Room, Indian River
<br />County Courthouse, Vero Beach,
<br />Florida for sale for cash to the
<br />County the following:
<br />Four (4) new 1960 four yard
<br />dump trucks, standard equipment,
<br />paint dark green, electric wind-
<br />shield wipers, direction signals,
<br />side mirrors on both sides of truck,
<br />heavy duty rear springs, minimum
<br />gross vehicle weight 16,000 pounds,
<br />minimum 130 inch wheel base, V-8
<br />engine minimum net SAE horse
<br />power 126 at 4000 RPM, rear axle
<br />two speed minimum 15,000 pound
<br />capacity, minimum six 825's x 20-
<br />10 ply tires and tubes, body shall
<br />be a Gar Wood or approved equal,
<br />four yard water level with cab i
<br />protector and with seven inch mini-
<br />mum double arm hoist, minimum
<br />ten gauge steel. Pump for hoist
<br />shall not be located in front of tail
<br />pipe.
<br />The County reserves the right
<br />to reject any and all bids.
<br />If further information desired,
<br />prospective bidders may contact
<br />the County Engineer. All bids shall
<br />be in an envelope, securely sealed
<br />and marked on the outside "Bid for
<br />Four Yard Dump Truck."
