Also that Avenue E West of the new R/W line, and Avenue D West of the <br />new R/W line, and Avenue C West of -the new R/W line, and all that part of <br />Avenue B West of the new R/W line which is not within the R/W limits for the <br />new connecting road, be abandoned. <br />That -the State Road Department be requested to make survey maps and <br />description's necessary to accomplish the above. <br />Original and copy -of the Annual Rerort of the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County for the fiscal year ending September 30, <br />1.959 was submitted for approval. The Board approved the Report and ordered <br />that copy be sent to the State Comptroller as provided by law. <br />The Chairman read a report from Reynolds, Smith & Hills regarding <br />Flood Control, said report was ordered filed. <br />Mrs. Anne Christensen, County Welfare Case Worker gave a report <br />of.her activities for the Month of November and said report was ordered <br />f iled. <br />Mrs. Christensen requested an increase from $80.00 to $100.00 <br />a month for care for Charlotte Atkin for the reason that the State has <br />decreased their payments to her since they do not have a registered or <br />practical nurse in the home. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Hamilton <br />seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, the Board <br />authorized the increase from $80.00 to $100.00 for care for Charlotte <br />Atkin. <br />A further discussion was held on the hiring of a Medical <br />Examiner, and it was decided that this matter should be tabled until next <br />year. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been <br />audited, were examined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued <br />in settlement of same. Such bills and accounts being on file in the Office <br />of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued from the re- <br />spective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book as provided by <br />the rules of the State Auditor, refernece to such record and the list so <br />recorded being made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depositories filed their monthly statements, showing <br />receipts and disbursements of the various funds, which have been audited <br />and found to be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the Board then adjourned. <br />
