DIVISION 1 — GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Section 1A - Scope of Work <br />The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to <br />clear and dispose of all trees and vegetation as shown on the drawings and described in <br />these specifications. Scope includes, but not limited to the following: <br />• Clear trees and brush one -inch in diameter or greater. Cut to a minimum height of <br />2" above existing grade. <br />• Trim, protect and leave standing trees designated to remain. <br />• Completely remove and dispose of all vegetative debris within the limits designated <br />on the plans. <br />• Remove and replace chain-link fence located within area to be cleared. <br />Section 1B - PhotoEraphs <br />CONTRACTOR shall take photographs of all work areas prior to construction and <br />all unusual conditions during construction. <br />Section 1C - Permits <br />The OWNER has applied for the Indian River County Right -of -Way Clearing <br />Permit. <br />Section 1D - Protection of Public <br />CONTRACTOR shall erect and maintain sufficient safeguards around all clearing <br />and grubbing operations, to protect the public from work area hazards. <br />Page 14 of 39 <br />
