SECTION 01009 SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 1 . 1 GENERAL <br /> A . Visits to the construction site may be made by representatives of permitting <br /> or governing bodies . Submit details of all instructions from the above to the <br /> ENGINEER immediately. The Work will not be accepted by the OWNER <br /> until final acceptance has been received from the various Regulatory <br /> Agencies having jurisdiction . <br /> B . Furnish sufficient labor, construction equipment and materials , and work <br /> such hours , including night shifts and overtime operations , as may be <br /> necessary to insure the prosecution of the work in accordance with the <br /> approved progress schedule. If, in the opinion of the ENGINEER, the <br /> CONTRACTOR falls behind the progress schedule , take such steps as may <br /> be necessary to improve progress , all without additional cost to the <br /> OWNER. The ENGINEER shall be compensated for his overtime services in <br /> accordance with the Supplementary Conditions , SC-6 .02 . <br /> C . All salvageable material and equipment for which specific use , relocation or <br /> other disposal is not specifically noted , shall remain the property of the <br /> OWNER and shall be delivered to the OWNER at the following location : <br /> 4550 41St Street, at the CONTRACTOR' s expense . All material and <br /> equipment not in salvageable condition , as determined by the ENGINEER <br /> and the OWNER, shall be disposed of by the CONTRACTOR, at the <br /> CONTRACTOR's expense . <br /> D . In addition to these Specifications all work must comply with the <br /> requirements of the local governing agency, St. Johns River Water <br /> Management District, Department of Environmental Protection , Corps of <br /> Engineers , Indian River Farms Water Control District, and all other <br /> applicable State or Federal agencies ' specifications and permits . In the <br /> event of a conflict, the more stringent specification or requirement shall <br /> govern . <br /> E . Before performing any work outside the designated limits of the work site , <br /> secure any necessary permits and authorization from the applicable owner, <br /> or verify in writing that such has been previously obtained . Follow all <br /> requirements of any said permits or authorization . Give the ENGINEER and <br /> appropriate owner ten ( 10) days minimum notice before commencing <br /> construction operations outside the designated limits of the work site . <br /> Adjacent property owners at time of bidding are listed below. <br /> SECTION 01050 FIELD ENGINEERING AND LAYOUT <br /> 1 . 1 GENERAL <br /> A. The CONTRACTOR will furnish all construction staking for the project.
