SJRWMD Stormwater Management Projects Cost -Sharing Application Form 2005-2006 <br />EVALUATION FACTOR related to question B-9: <br />Is the project a cooperative effort with one or more other organizations or agencies? Are other <br />cooperative funds being contributed? What funds are being contributed to the project, and are they <br />encumbered, are they budgeted, or have they been awarded? 0 or 5 points. Does the project provide other water resource benefits in addition to water quality, such as <br />improving or protecting groundwater, increasing recharge, conserving water, or providing flood <br />protection? Yes® No❑ <br />If yes, then describe benefits. <br />The Stormwater Park Model provides numerous water resource related environmental benefits <br />including enhanced use of water resources by fish and wildlife; provide educational <br />opportunities; reduction of erosion and nutrient runoff from the site; some internal storage <br />of targeted waters; recycling of nutrients through recovery of compost, thereby reducing <br />import of inorganic fertilizers; and facilitating future reuse of treated water for commercial <br />or residential applications. e.g. cooling water; irrigation water; process waters). <br />EVALUATION FACTOR related to question B-10: <br />Does the project provide other water resource benefits in addition to water quality, such as improving <br />or protecting groundwater, increasing recharge, conserving water, or providing flood protection? 0-5 <br />points.
