The Attorney for the Board stated he had been requested by the Board <br />to see whether or not the Board had the power had the power to adopt re- <br />gulations prohibiting motels from putting up price signs. he stated he <br />had looked into the matter and that the Board does not have this authority. <br />Rosemary Richey, Supervisor of Registration appeared before the Board <br />and stated she would like to have her salary increased. After considerable <br />discussion in the matter and upon ?notion made by Commissioner Waddell, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, the foliow inq; <br />Resolution was adopted: <br />That the Salary of the Supervisor of Registration, effective Jctocer <br />1, 1960, be established at $3000.00 per annum payable in monthly irnstall- <br />ments, with the view that the ?�oard intends to establish the salary of <br />the Supervisor of Registration in direct rat.:..o to tr.e total number of <br />registered voters or the County, and that hereafter the Supervisor's <br />salary will be increased or decreased at the rate of $300.00 per year <br />for each one thousand registered voters or major fraction thereof to be <br />computed as of June 30th each year, above the total of nine thousand <br />until the Supervisor's salary reaches the total sLmi of $4,000.00 per <br />year, then the matter will be reconsidered. <br />
