seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously carried, the Board <br />agreed to go along with this. <br />A note was read from the County Engineer with regard to the signing <br />of the final plat of Summer Place Subdivision, and upon Motion made by <br />Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and carried, the <br />following Resolution was adopted: <br />That the Board authorizes the County Engineer sign Unit #1 of <br />Summer Place Subdivision, changing the single lot and alley easement as <br />park area to 2 lots plus an alley easement; also there shall be a 70 foot <br />public road from A1A to the West boundary of Summer Place Subdivision. <br />connecting to the existing road in Oceanaire Heights Subdivision. <br />A discussion was held as what to do about the land recently purchased <br />from Daphne Strickland. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded <br />by Commissioner Hamilton and carried, it was ordered that the house on the <br />corner should be advertised for sale to be removed from the property. Said <br />bids to be opened at the September 6th meeting. The Board also requested <br />the C^unty Engineer have some of the men at the barn put rolled roofing on <br />the small house and then let the Custodian rent the house for $40.00 per <br />month. <br />A Resolution was received and ordered filed dissolving the Atlantic - <br />Gulf Special Road and Bridge District. A check in the amount of $304.21 <br />was received representing this county's share of the balance of the funds <br />of this Board. Upon Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Macdonald and carried, the Clerk was instructed to deposit <br />said funds in the Road & Bridge Fund. <br />A deed from the Board of Public Instruction to the County, conveying <br />one acre of land in Oslo was received and upon Motion made by Commissioner <br />McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried, the Clerk was <br />ordered to put said deed of record. <br />A letter was received from Charles G. Palmer requesting permission <br />from the Commissioners to allow water service from Vero Beach city owned <br />mains to lots on 35th Ave. located in the County. Upon Motion made by <br />Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Palmer giving this permission and <br />
