General Conditions <br /> 8 . All construction , earthwork , planting and irrigation shall conform to acceptable industry standards for each respective <br /> type of activity unless otherwise noted on the project plans or agreed upon in writing by the Contract Manager. <br /> 9 . Upon completion of each task identified in the budget, the Contractor shall request a review by the Contract Manager <br /> to ensure that the work completed meets project standards and needs . The Contract Manager will then notify the <br /> Department Contract Manager that payment can be made for that task . <br /> 10 . Prior to initiating any construction work on the Refuge site , a construction plan must be developed by the <br />Contractor <br /> and approved by the Contract Manager. The purpose of this construction plan will be to identify access routes <br /> to <br /> restoration areas , staging areas , and other construction related details . During the construction phase of the project, <br /> all earthwork and other construction related activities will be limited to the footprint of the restoration area , <br />access <br /> routes and approved staging areas . Repair of any damage to facilities , road or natural areas on the Refuge resulting <br /> from negligent activity will be the responsibility of the Contractor. <br /> 11. The construction area must be kept clear of any litter or trash at all times . Any fuels, oils or <br /> fluid spills must be <br /> reported to the Contract Manager and the Refuge Manager and cleaned up immediately. <br /> 12 . The Contractor and its subcontractors and agents agree to abide by all rules and regulations of Pelican Island National <br /> Wildlife Refuge , specifically those addressing the possession of alcohol and firearms, posted speed limits <br /> and <br /> harassing or harming wildlife and plants . <br /> Budget and Schedule <br /> Phase 1-A - Upland Restoration <br /> Task Estimated Cost Estimated Schedule <br /> 1.
