TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 1961 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />met at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida in a regular <br />9:00 o'clock. A.M., Tuesday, February 21, 1961. Present <br />meeting held at <br />were D. B. Mc - <br />Cullers, Jr., Vice Chairman; J. J. P. Hamilton, Donald Macdonald and <br />Dr. B. Q. Waddell. Absent was Robert W. Graves, Chairman. Also present <br />were Ed Schmucker, County Engineer; Katherine Morrison, Secretary and <br />George Heath, Attorney, sitting in for Sherman N. J. Schumann, who <br />on oath says that he is Business Manager of the Vero Beach Press -Journal, a weekly <br />newspaper published at Vero Beach in Indian River County, Florida; that the attached <br />copy of advertisement, being a ] <br />in the matter of _-1_ ___ c""1' <br />in the Court, was pub- <br />lished in said newspaper in the issues of <br />Affiant further says that the said Vero Beach Press -Journal is a newspaper published at <br />Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida, and that the said newspaper has heretofore <br />been continuously published in said Indian River County, Florida, weekly and has been entered <br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida, <br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of advertisement; <br />and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation <br />any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this advertisement for <br />publication in the said newspaper. <br />Sworn to and subscribed before me this°-- --- day of <br />(SEAL) <br />A. M. on <br />the 21st day of February, 1961; and <br />at said time publicly open the same <br />at its offices in the Indian River <br />County Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida, for the equipping and fur- <br />nishing of the new addition to the <br />Indian River County Courthouse, <br />currently under construction, with <br />counter units, file cabinets, settees, <br />desks, chairs, bookcases, tables, <br />storage cabinets, courtroom furni- <br />ture and other items of furniture, <br />fixtures and equipment as set forth <br />in detail in itemized specifications <br />available at the office of David V. <br />Robison, Architect, 1002 - 20th <br />Place, Vero Beach, Florida. <br />Each bid should be in an en- <br />velope, securely sealed, addressed <br />to the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners, marked on the outside, <br />"Bid for Equipping and Furnishings <br />for the Courthouse Addition." The <br />Board of County Commissioners re- <br />serves the right to reject any and <br />all bids and all bids are subject <br />to the approval of the Board of <br />'Coun£y Commissioners. Each bid <br />should be for one lump sum unit <br />price and all bids must include <br />complete installation. Time and <br />service is of the essence and each <br />bid should clearly state the com- <br />pletion date for all of the items <br />installed.
