That the Zoning Map be changed in' order that the follovri ng <br />described property, situated in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit:' <br />That portion lying West of the Florida East Coast <br />Railway right of way of the South half of the South- <br />east quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 28, <br />Township 31 South, Range 39 East; <br />be changed from C-1, Commercial District, to M-1 A, Restricted Industrial <br />District. <br />All within the meaning and intent and as set forth and described <br />in said Zoning Resolution. <br />A copy of a letter to the Vero Beach City Council from the Taxpayers <br />Association of Indian River County, was read. Motion was made by Comm- <br />issionerMacdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried, requesting <br />the Secretary inform the Taxpayers Association that it is our policy to <br />invest all available funds. <br />A letter was read from John H. Monahan, Member of the State Road <br />Board thanking the Board for the hospitality extended to him. <br />The County Engineer stated he had a request from a citizen to abandon <br />a part of the Murphy Act right of.way reserved on the North road at Fells - <br />mere, and he suggested that the Board at this time set a width for this <br />.road. 'le further stated that Brevard County is now in the process of <br />building a road to meet with the North road in their County. After some <br />discussion in the matter, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, <br />seconded by Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that the width <br />for the North road at Fellsmere be established at a right of way of 120 <br />foot width. <br />At the last meeting several changes were introduced by the County <br />Engineer to replace ones already in our Subdivision Regulations. After <br />some discussion, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously approved to incorporate the following <br />changes into the Subdivision Regulations, and also authorizing the County <br />Engineer have the Regulations reprinted to include these changes.' <br />
